Questions

What do I get when I buy?

Polar sends you the kit download (the agentic-ui CLI, the MCP server, the agent skills, the semantic catalog and registry availability data) and a license key, which is also your access token for the private registry (the server components install from; it is only used while installing). Components, templates and blueprints install from the registry into your repository as source files.

How is it different from free shadcn/ui blocks?

It installs the same way, through the shadcn CLI, as source files in your repository. On top of that you get 828 components, 18 app templates and 16 blueprints, on Radix UI or Base UI, with 26 themes. A semantic catalog, a local MCP server and agent skills let your agent search by intent and decide whether to reuse, adapt or build, and the agentic-ui CLI applies your theme first and refuses to add a second design system.

Am I locked in?

No. Installed components are plain source files in your repository and keep working without the registry or your license key. The MCP server and the skills run locally, are read-only and optional. Your license is perpetual and includes all 1.x updates. Read the license.

Can I use it for client projects?

Yes. One license covers unlimited projects, for yourself or for clients (license section 2). Read the license.

Do I need an AI agent to use it?

No. The agentic-ui CLI and the shadcn CLI install everything on their own; the MCP server and skills are optional.

Is it a subscription?

No. It is a one-time payment, and 1.x updates are included.

Can I get a refund?

14-day refund: if the kit is not right for you, write to support within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. A refund revokes your license key, which ends registry access. This does not limit any right you have under applicable consumer law. Read the terms of sale.

Which projects are supported?

React and Next.js (App Router) projects with Tailwind CSS 4 and shadcn conventions, built on either Radix UI or Base UI primitives. Both variants look the same; your theme controls the look. The CLI refuses to add a second design system to a project that already has one.

Do templates and blueprints include a backend?

No. They are the user interface: screens, navigation and interactive states, with sample data in local modules and stores. You connect your own data, authentication and persistence.

What does the license allow?

Unlimited projects for yourself or your clients, commercial ones included. You may not redistribute the kit or build a competing kit with it, and the attribution notice stays in your source code. Read the license.

Which coding agents does it work with?

In the recorded runs on this site, Claude Code and OpenAI Codex used the catalog through the MCP server (Model Context Protocol: how coding agents call local tools), and Kimi Code built an app through the CLI and the skills. Any agent that can launch a stdio MCP server can use the tools. Without MCP, the agentic-ui CLI and the shadcn CLI still install everything. See a recorded run.

Does anything run on your servers after installation?

No. Installed components are plain source files in your repository. The MCP server runs locally and is read-only; only installing talks to the registry.

Can I buy today?

Yes: the buy button on the pricing page opens the hosted checkout.
